In addition to an internal SATA port, it includes an external port to allow for an external SATA device. The RC-210 is compliant with SATA 1.0a specifications so it will work on almost any compatible device. The controller card also provides an additional feature.
The RC-210 can be used with either a tower case or a low profile desktop chassis. The card can fit either a tower or a low profile desktop chassis; just make sure the motherboard has a free PCI slot. Last, but not least, the RC-205 includes drivers for most Windows operating systems including Windows 98SE/ ME/ NT 4.0/2000/XP/Vista.
